The earthlings (and we) understood what she said because of the traslator. So she may have said the "real" name for Vulcan and the translator translated it as Vulcan. Anyway - I really think that there will be more than one name for the planet, and lets face it - we, probably, don't know the REAL name because the "Vuclans" never told us.
