I think you missunderstood.  I didn't mean to imply that learning
Klingon or Okrand's system of writing was easy.  Beleive me, I've
studied Klingon for quite some time and am only now getting the hang of
it, and I can assure you that it is far from easy!  All I meant was that
making Vulcan "Roman" letters like Okrand's makes it easy for beginners
in Vulcan who *already* had a basic knowledge of Klingon.  I, perhaps
erroneously, assumed that most Trek fans who wanted to study Vulcan
would want to study other Trek languages as well.  Klingon is the only
official one out there, so it seemed reasonable that this Trek fan would
have already given The Klingon Dictionary at least a cursory
examination.

Sorry if I didn't clarify that properly!  As we Klingons would say,
HIvqa' veqlargh!

Oh, and as far as pronouncing Klingon, the only difficulat phonemes for
me are {Q}, {S}, and {tlh}.  Most are pretty much like their English
equivalents, with some slight variations here or there.  But, this list
is about Vulcan, not Klingon, so I'll stop now! ;-)

P,S. That Klingon used above means "The Fek'lhr strikes again," which is
about as close as a Klingon would come to admitting a silly mistake! :-)
